A Poem By John A.Daddy's Little GirlShe came into my life so tiny and frail, I hugged and kissed my wife who had a smile as big as a whale, as she cuddled, our precious ray of light. We loved her so this tiny bundle of joy as we watched her grow, she was never shy or coy with such an inner glow. She grew into this young lady so beautiful and smart, once a happy baby now a lady with a happy heart who brought happiness to so many. Her life was cut short in a blink of an eye along with her hopes and dreams when she fell from the sky I tried to protect her from any harm or lie, but now it's up to god to make sure she will no longer cry. She is gone forever, and each day I feel the pain her memory keeps me together and helps me to remain sane. When I look at her picture, I am happy as well as sad, she was and always will be my little girl, for this I am eternally glad. John A. Riccardi, California |
